ISO 14001 Environmental management systems – is an international standard created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The standard specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organization seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.
ISO 14001:2015 helps an organization achieve the intended outcomes of its environmental management system, which provide value for the environment, the organization itself and interested parties.
PREREQUISITE
ISO 14001:2015 is applicable to any organization, regardless of size, type and nature, and applies to the environmental aspects of its activities, products and services that the organization determines it can either control or influence considering a life cycle perspective. ISO 14001:2015 does not state specific environmental performance criteria.

ISO 14064 Greenhouse gases – is an international standard created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The standard specifies principles and requirements at the organization level for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals. It includes requirements for the design, development, management, reporting and verification of an organization's GHG inventory.
ISO14064 standard provides governments, businesses, regions and other organisations with a complementary set of tools for programs to quantify, monitor, report and verify greenhouse gas emissions.
PUBLISHED IN THREE PARTS
ISO 14064-1:2018 specifies principles and requirements at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals. It includes requirements for the design, development, management, reporting and verification of an organization's GHG inventory.
----------------------------------
ISO 14064-2:2019 specifies principles and requirements and provides guidance at the project level for quantification, monitoring and reporting of activities intended to cause greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions or removal enhancements. It includes requirements for planning a GHG project, identifying and selecting GHG sources, sinks and reservoirs relevant to the project and baseline scenario, monitoring, quantifying, documenting and reporting GHG project performance and managing data quality.
----------------------------------
ISO 14064-3:2019 specifies principles and requirements and provides guidance for those conducting or managing the validation and/or verification of greenhouse gas (GHG) assertions. It can be applied to organizational or GHG project quantification, including GHG quantification, monitoring and reporting carried out in accordance with ISO 14064-1 or ISO 14064-2.

Green and Gracious Builder Scheme (GGBS) - Introduced by BCA in February 2009, the GGBS is a certification scheme that provides a benchmark of a builder’s corporate social responsibility to the environment and public during the construction of projects.
It also sets standards for green and gracious practices that builders can implement to address environmental concerns and mitigate possible inconveniences to the public caused by construction works.
GGBS firms will be tiered-rated based on their score, ranging from Certified, Merit, Excellent, and Star.
PREREQUISITE
Both the GGBS and GGBS (SMC) certification schemes are voluntary for all builders.
However, builders which wish to apply for or retain their BCA Contractors Registry System (CRS) registration in work heads CW01 and CW02 and financial grades from A1 to B2 are required to obtain GGBS certification.

The Green Mark certification scheme is a green building rating system designed to evaluate a building’s environmental impact and performance. It provides a comprehensive framework for assessing the overall environmental performance of new and existing buildings to promote sustainable design, and best practices inconstruction and operations in buildings.
The national green building rating scheme has been restructured to encompass four main sections:
- Climatic Responsive Design
- Building Energy Performance
- Resource Stewardship
- Smart & Healthy Building
In addition, a bonus section on Advanced Green Building Efforts has been added to recognise sustainability efforts that go beyond assessment requirements.
Green Mark 2021
The BCA Green Mark 2021 (GM: 2021) is an internationally recognised green building certification scheme tailored for the tropical climate. It encourages the industry and professionals to collaborate and develop green building solutions, raising Singapore’s built environment’s sustainability standards.
PREREQUISITE
Based on an overall assessment, a building will be awarded one of four Green Mark ratings: the Green Mark Certified, Gold, GoldPlus or Platinum Award.
Both new and existing buildings are eligible to be enrolled in this scheme.
-------
Green Mark buildings contribute significantly to the environment. A Green Mark Platinum building in Singapore, for instance, can achieve more than 30% energy savings compared to a code-compliant building.

Industrial Energy Management
Optimizing your industrial operations to improve energy efficiency can be a challenge. Strategic energy management allows you to gain control of your energy use and reduce consumption with no impact to production or product quality.
Community Energy Management
We help schools implement an energy reduction programme using our energy monitoring system. At each step we help you to both reduce your utilities budget and use the software as an educational, learning tool in the classroom. The installation cost of our energy monitoring system is offset by the savings made year on year.
Building Energy management Systems
Commercial buildings have been found to waste, on average, 30% of the energy they consume; unless you’ve taken steps to address this loss (other than using a traditional building management system—or BMS), your efficiency rate likely isn’t far off.
Some of the partners & clients we’ve worked with
Our clients include: government, builders, designers, architects, building product supply companies, and consultancy companies. We utilize 3Rs approach meaning we evaluate “Green approach” based on the synergistic strategies recognized in the GreenMark guideline as good practice for environmental, economic and social good.
